2019-2020 ADMISSIONS TIMELINESeptember-January: Visit Assumption and complete online application
January 31: First Round Application Deadline
March 13: 6th-8th Grade Student Shadow Days for applicants
March: First Round Decisions emailed
May: 6th-8th Grade Student Shadow Days for applicants
January- August: Applications submitted after January 31 will be evaluated on a rolling basis as spaces become available.
HOW TO APPLY
Complete the online application and submit it along with the following:- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- 2 Years previous Final Report Cards
- Current Year-to-Date Report Card (applications submitted October-December will be required to submit an updated year-to-date report card by 1/31 to still be considered for first round decisions)
- A copy of the child’s most recent standardized test results (if applicable)
- A current family photograph (non-returnable)
- Teacher Recommendation email (this should be the child’s current teacher’s email address)
*For Kindergarten applicants:- Birth Certificate

- A copy of the VPK Assessment (if applicable)
- A current family photograph (non-returnable)

All of these items can be scanned and sent in electronically during the application process. If unable to send electronically, please place all items in an envelope marked “New Admission” and deliver it to the school office. Feel free to contact us if you should have any questions regarding this process.
Current registered parishioners who are actively involved in parish life will receive priority consideration for acceptance into Assumption. Upon initial acceptance, the families will have two weeks to submit registration and new family fees to hold the spot.
Prospective students may be required to take an assessment to determine acceptance and placement. Details will be provided after initial application is received. Also, all McKay students must submit current educational evaluations and be assessed to ensure the student’s needs can be met here at Assumption.
