"My family has been continuously blessed by this faith-filled community. It is an honor to work with such caring people who have supported and encouraged my family both personally and professionally. My boys are proud Assumption alumni, and I am truly honored to be a part of the Assumption family!”

-Vicki Yazdiya, 5th Grade Teacher

At Assumption, our goal is to help students grow to proclaim the gospel while integrating faith with a strong academic program.  Although we are a large school with more than 500 students, we work diligently to foster a family environment where all students feel known, welcomed, and supported in their unique and different learning styles. We maintain a low class size of 18-22 students in K-4 and an average of 25 students per class in 5th-8th grades. Aides in Kindergarten and 1st grade help our youngest learners excel. Read below to explore how our curriculum walks students from preschool to middle school, preparing them for high school and beyond.

building a foundation

Your child’s journey determines their destination. Choosing a preschool is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child and your family. Assumption ECLC aims to provide a warm, nurturing, stimulating, safe, and loving environment.

Elementary School

Expanding our world

Our academic curriculum includes math, language arts, social studies, science, and religion in every grade. Students learn coursework and modern learning strategies through critical thinking and technology. They regularly work independently and in groups to strengthen leadership skills, teamwork, character, and intellect. As students enter 5th grade, they have lockers and are taught more advanced organizational strategies. They also learn to manage a more complex schedule in preparation for middle school.

Middle School

Learning to fly

The middle school explores more advanced coursework while introducing higher level organizational and study strategies. Students begin to switch classes, choose elective courses, and learn to manage a schedule that prepares them for high school. The designated middle school building provides our 6th-8th grade students access to newer classrooms, a lounge area, and a fully equipped science lab.

ENRICHMENT

Our dedicated enrichment teacher offers qualified second to fifth-grade students a weekly program that emphasizes problem-based learning, STREAM experiments, book studies, and more to expand learning opportunities out of the classroom.
