LUNCH PROGRAM

Assumption has an optional lunch program with meals prepared at school in our cafeteria. Children may choose between hot and cold lunch options, with a variety of healthy and treat options available (only one treat may be purchased per day). Mondays are always pizza day and ice cream; if Monday is a holiday or no school, this treat day will fall on Tuesday. We look forward to providing a satisfying lunch program for your child.

NEW FAMILY LUNCH INFORMATION

In order to run lunch smoothly, we have a pre-payment lunch program through MySchoolBucks. It is mandatory that all parents set up an account for their child(ren), even if you don’t plan on purchasing anything from the cafeteria. Every student will receive a lunch pin number at the beginning of the year. Please help your child to remember this code just in case they lose their badge.


If you are paying by cash or check, please have your child give it to their homeroom teacher. Label the envelope “lunch program” and include the student's name and their lunch ID#. Cash cannot be turned in during lunchtime. ALL money must be posted before the student's lunch period.

NEW FAMILY LUNCH INFORMATION

Enrolling and funding are simple and securely completed online. There, you can check balances, view student purchases, set spending limits, and fund your child's account. There is also an app for your phone.


MySchoolBucks adheres to the highest security standards. Your personal and payment card information is protected by the most advanced Internet security.


With the recurring payment option, money will always be in your child’s account. With the low balance alert set (highly recommend) when a low balance is reached, money is automatically deposited. Even if you are not using the recurring payment, please click the reminder.

NEW FAMILY LUNCH INFORMATION

You will receive instructions and a Student ID at New Family Orientation.  

If you are unable to attend, please contact cafeteria@assumptionjax.org after 8/7/23 to obtain the Student ID #.

*If your rising Kindergarten student currently attends our ECLC PreK4 program, you will be able to use the same Student ID#.


Go to www.MySchoolBucks.com and select ENROLL NOW

Create an account for your children. You'll use the Student ID that the school has provided you, along with the student’s date of birth, school, and grade. (if the ID# starts with 0 please include that). Please verify that we have the correct birth date. If not, payments will not be processed properly. Email cafeteria@assumptionjax.org.


You may also call the MSB toll-free customer support center at 1-855-832-5226 for questions or assistance with enrollment. The support personnel are available Monday - Friday from 8 am ET - 7 pm ET. You can also email them at parentsupport@myschoolbucks.com.

If your child has any food allergies, please email cafeteria@assumptionjax.org their allergies along with their name and grade. We make sure our staff is aware and that they know what precautions to take.


If they have an EpiPen, please see the required medical form needed to submit the medication to the front office. We strive to keep our children with food allergies safe, but to do so, we need your assistance.

RETURNING FAMILY LUNCH INFORMATION

Remember everyone to replenish their student’s account. This can easily be done through MySchoolBucks.com.

While you are on the MSB website, please go through and make sure your credit card information is current, if you placed any limits or restrictions that they are still chosen, and that you set up the low balance alert so when your child’s account is low you will receive an email. Even if not using the recurring payment please set the reminder. This will allow your child to always be funded and able to participate in the lunch program.

It is not the responsibility of the lunch program to ensure your child has money in their account or a packed lunch. Please be aware of their balance and act accordingly. We encourage you to use MySchoolBucks.com to fund lunch accounts.
