STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, MATH) + RELIGION + ARTS = STREAM

The idea of emphasizing the subject areas of STEM has been driven by the business community to prepare a more agile and educated workforce for our country’s future. It has become evident that our economy is being driven by innovation in these areas, but the creativity and communication nurtured through the arts is seen as an essential component of innovation. As a Catholic school, religion is woven through all subjects to create a holistic approach to education. STREAM, therefore, is the necessary evolution of STEM education, using an interdisciplinary approach to bridge subject areas. It is not a new curriculum, but a philosophical framework for delivering excellence in Catholic education for 21st-century learners.
